Years before Marion Ross became Mrs. Cunningham on Happy Days, she was raising another television family. In 1965, she played Mary Morgan on NBC’s Paradise Bay, a daytime soap set in a fictional town on the Southern California coast and the series began with a murder mystery.

Paradise Bay premiered on September 27, 1965. Ross starred opposite Keith Andes, who played her husband, Jeff Morgan, the manager of the local radio station. Heather North played their teenage daughter, Kitty, who wanted to join a rock band.
