Viewers are curious to know why Nancy Fuller didn’t return to Holiday Baking Championship, a show she has been a part of since 12 seasons. Ongoing rumors suggest that she was quietly removed for two major reasons: financial considerations and fresh talent. Apart from this show, Fuller is also known as a judge on Clash of the Grandmas, Farmhouse Rules, and Spring Baking Championship.
Was Nancy Fuller replaced from Holiday Baking Championship?
Fuller has been replaced by Chef Molly Yeh as a judge on Holiday Baking Championship Season 13, which premiered November 2. The U.S. Sun addressed the alleged reason why Fuller abruptly left the show after being a judge for so many years. As per the report, Fuller’s hefty paycheck allegedly led to this decision as the executives look to hire younger replacements with lesser salary.
An insider said, “Letting Nancy go was partly the network’s decision, but Nancy understood. She is at the age where she needs to take care of herself and spend time with family.” They further mentioned that at present, Fuller is focused on her health and spending time with her loved ones. They touched upon how everyone at the network is appreciative of Nancy and how she has built a strong reputation over the years. However, they noted that this decision was “strictly business.”
“Nancy, being the amazing veteran judge that she is, is costly. The network wanted to find someone cheaper and younger. Cliche, but that’s how Hollywood still works. And they were able to find that with Molly [Yeh],” the insider further added.
Ahead of the new season’s premiere, Fuller took to Instagram to share how she’s celebrating her Halloween, posting a quick snap of the treats. She asked viewers how their Halloween was, as many took to the comment section to say they missed Fuller on the show while sharing thoughts about their celebrations.
