The Maccabees closed Glastonbury 2025 with a blissed-out headline show on The Park Stage tonight (Sunday June 29) – featuring a cameo from Florence Welch. Check out photos, footage and the setlist below.

The recently reunited indie heroes took to The Park in a bill-topping slot up against the likes of Olivia Rodrigo and The Prodigy, pulling a huge crowd to their sunset spot at the closing of Glasto.

It was an emotional and career-spanning set from the London band, who took the time to thank the crowd who’d given their final evening at Worthy Farm to marching up the hill to see them and “keeping the faith” in them, admitting that they “never thought they’d make it this far”.

As a surprise for the fans who made it to the very end of the festival, they followed their encore of a beautiful rendition of the classic ‘Toothpaste Kisses’ by inviting their friend Florence Welch to the stage for guest vocals on ‘Love You Better’ before taking to cover Florence & The Machine‘s ‘Dog Days Are Over’

“Do we have any Maccabees super-fans in the audience?” asked Welch, “because you definitely have one on stage.”

Before closing with Pelican, guitarist Felix White said: “Before we leave, we’re thinking of the people of Palestine and we know you are as well.”
