One of Disney’s most beloved musical fantasy franchises is back! Descendants: Wicked Wonderland picks up after the events of Descendants: The Rise of Red. In the 2024 film, Red (Kylie Cantrall), the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe Charming (Malia Baker), the daughter of Cinderella (Brandy Norwood) and King Charming (Paolo Montalban), traveled back in time to stop the event that turned the Queen of Hearts (Rita Ora) into the villain audiences know. Their mission succeeded, rewriting history in the process.

But changing the past comes with unexpected consequences. With the Queen of Hearts no longer evil, a dangerous new threat emerges. Red and Chloe may have saved her from becoming a villain, but can they save her life?

Who will star in Descendants: Wicked Wonderland?

Kylie Cantrall returns to the role of Red, and Malia Baker joins her as Chloe. Also returning are Leonardo Nam as the Maddox Hatter, Melanie Paxson as the Fairy Godmother, Paolo Montalban as King Charming, Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts, and Brandy Norwood, who will reprise her iconic role as Cinderella.

New cast members include: Liamani Segura as Pink, Brendon Tremblay as the Max Hatter, Alexandro Byrd as Luis Madrigal, Kiara Romero as Hazel Hook, Joel Oulette as Robbie Hood, Zavien Garrett as Felix Facilier, Ryan McEwen as Squirmy Smee, Dayton Paradis as Squeaky Smee, and Awkwafina as Chessy the Cat.

What is Descendants: Wicked Wonderland about?

After traveling back in time in The Rise of Red, Red and Chloe have accidentally unleashed a dangerous new villain, Maddox Hatter. With the Queen of Hearts captured, it is up to the duo to assemble an unlikely dream team to stop the new foe. Joining the mission are Red’s sister Pink, Luis Madrigal’s son Luis, Captain Hook’s daughter Hazel, and Maddox’s own son Max. Together, they must save the Queen of Hearts and all of Wonderland before it is too late.

Kimmy Gatewood is the director and co-executive producer. The script was written by co-executive producers Tamara Chestna, Dan Frey, and Ru Sommer. Returning executive producers are Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh. Choreographed by Emmy Award winner Emilio Dosal.
