Yellowjackets returns as the survivors face their final chapter
Yellowjackets Season 4 is all set to reveal the final fate of the soccer team. In the final installment, the survivors scramble to bury their darkest secrets while an old flame returns to town with an agenda of her own. However, the reunion might not go as expected.
Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets is a survival epic with elements of psychological horror. It follows a group of high school girls’ soccer team who get stranded in deep wilderness after a plane crash.
The girls resort to extreme measures to survive the unforgiving landscape for nineteen months. A parallel storyline takes place 25 years later as the survivors, now adults, continue to grapple with their harrowing experiences.
Showrunners Lyle and Nickerson also serve as executive producers along with Drew Comins, Jonathan Lisco, Jeff W. Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa and Julia Bicknell.
Yellowjackets features an ensemble cast that includes Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, and Samantha Hanratty as the main group of survivors. Meanwhile, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, and Christina Ricci play their adult versions.
Since its 2021 debut, Yellowjackets has earned widespread critical acclaim and multiple Primetime Emmy nominations.
